    Is Landoption Right For You?

We're not like everyone else. We're a rural lifestyle brand for people who want something different for rural America , and the producers who make those places thrive.

    A Letter From

    Eric Dinger, Founder

Hey, I'm Eric, founder of Landoption and I'd like to share with you a bit about our company.

At Landoption we're building a future with more wild people, more wild places, and more wild things. Ben came up with that, and we say it a lot. You probably will, too.

Landoption is building a culture where your ability to swap stories about the weekend's adventures is as important as your knowledge of soil health or regenerative agriculture. If we aren't in the office working to build farms and businesses, we are probably in a treestand, or a boat, or laughing about something dumb that happened when we were. We believe that to build wild places and support rural communities, you have to love them. Do you?

At Landoption, we take our purpose seriously but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We value a good time, and the most innovative things right along with the things that should never change. We are a lean, fast-moving team of outdoor-loving conservation and sustainability professionals. Each of us has a "get sh..tuff done" attitude.

We're looking for dealers who speak the language of the farm and the farmer. Dealers who want to help us build the connective tissue that makes farm programs simple, trusted, and rewarding. And who want to have a great time doing it.

Is that you? If so, keep reading.

    Thanks for your time,
    Eric

    Our Origin

    Why We Started Landoption

Rural America is being asked to do more than ever , feed a growing population, steward soil and water, fight climate change, and somehow keep small towns alive while doing it.

And yet the people doing the work (producers, ranchers, foresters) are drowning in 1,100+ fragmented programs, confusing paperwork, and well-meaning advisors who don't actually know the land or the lifestyle.

We started Landoption because the future of wild places depends on the producers who live there making more money for doing the right thing , not less.

Our dealers are the trusted neighbors who make that real. They aren't selling a product. They're helping a producer build a stack of income that lets the next generation stay on the land. That's the work. That's why we're here.

This Might Not Be For You

We'd rather you self-select out than waste your time. Be honest with yourself.

    Probably Not a Fit

    • ✕You want a 9-to-5 with a corporate playbook.
    • ✕You see producers as transactions, not neighbors.
    • ✕You don't actually spend time outside.
    • ✕You need someone else to set your schedule and goals.
    • ✕You think conservation is a buzzword to sell against.
    • ✕You're allergic to a little dirt , or a little fun.

    Sounds Like You

    • ✓You speak the language of the farm and the farmer.
    • ✓Your favorite meetings happen at a kitchen table or a tailgate.
    • ✓You want producers to make more money for the right reasons.
    • ✓You've got a 'get stuff done' attitude and don't wait for permission.
    • ✓You love wild places enough to fight for them.
    • ✓You'd rather build something different than be one of many.
